Year 10 IGCSE Art & Design Help Pack

(1)
This resource contains over 20 different items to help: transition students from Key Stage 3 to Cambridge IGCSE, introduce the course in general and help unpack Year 10 specifically. This pack is ideal for teachers new to the course and for seasoned teachers who need helpful supplementary resources for students. The resource includes Word documents, jpeg images, PDF’s and also PowerPoints. These various resources can be used throughout the Year 10 course, not only at the beginning. There are various supplementary materials such as: parent evening pack, mounting suggestions and advice from previous students. Additionally, there are also notes on basic vocabulary, terms and definitions and breaking down artist research. All worksheets are developed to encourage independent learning and are meant to be kept by students as reference material. This ensures that teachers can focus on providing feedback on work, rather than repeating information already provided. Real examples of students work, using good quality photos and grades, are included to show both process and final outcomes. This pack will take all the stress out of teaching this course for both you and the students!
